PLUS+1

PLUS+1 is a software development ecosystem from Sauer-Danfoss (now Danfoss Power Solutions) for designing, programming, and servicing electronic controls in mobile off-highway machinery. The suite centers on PLUS+1 GUIDE, a graphical programming environment that lets engineers build applications with function blocks and generate code for controllers, HMI displays, and I/O modules. Complementing GUIDE, the PLUS+1 Service Tool provides commissioning, diagnostics, calibration, parameter management, and data logging in the field or on the test bench. The platform includes prevalidated libraries for hydraulics, propulsion, steering, and work functions, along with communication blocks for CAN and J1939, helping teams integrate sensors, actuators, and human–machine interfaces quickly and reliably. Built for OEM workflows, PLUS+1 accelerates prototyping and reduces time to market by enabling model-based design, simulation, and iterative testing without low-level programming. Typical uses include custom machine control, joystick mapping, safety interlocks, and performance optimization. PLUS+1 supports a wide range of Danfoss electronic hardware and is backed by documentation, example projects, and training resources.
